A quotation does not constitute a binding contract until accepted by both parties.

5. Bookings and Appointments

Appointment requests submitted through this website are subject to availability and confirmation. Submission of any enquiry does not guarantee an appointment.

6. Prices

Unless otherwise stated:

Prices include VAT where applicable.
Additional works are requested after acceptance of a quotation may incur addional charges.
Emergency Call-Out rates may differ from standard prices. Unless otherwise stated within a maintenance contract.

7. Payment Terms

Payment is due in accordance with the invoice issued.

Unless agreed otherwise:

Domestic customers: Payment is due upon completion of the works.
Commercial customers: Payment is due within the agreed payment period stated on the invoice.

Late payments may result in interest being charged in accordance with the Late Payment Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.

8. Cancellations

Customers should provide at least 24 Hours notice if they need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.

We reserve the right to charge for missed appointments or late cancellations where costs have been incurred.

9. Warranties

Workmanship is warranted for a reasonable period from completion, subject to:

Correct use of the installation.
No unauthorised alterations.
Manufacturer warranty conditions.
Equipment supplied is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable.

10. Limitation of Liability

Whilst every effort is made to ensure accuracy, AJB Fire and Security accepts no liability for:

Loss arising from reliance on information contained on this website.
Temporary interruption of website availability.
Indirect or consequential losses, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing within these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
