For domestic premises, we work in accordance with the relevant recommendations of BS 5839-6:2019+A1:2020, covering the planning, design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of domestic fire detection and alarm systems.

Our emergency lighting work is undertaken with reference to BS 5266-1:2025, the current British Standard providing recommendations and guidance for the emergency lighting of premises. The 2025 edition covers emergency escape lighting as well as local area and standby lighting.
